CHILDREN WHO go to nurseries staffed by men as well as women have a more balanced view of the world, says a study by the Institute of Education.

Clare Cameron, co-author of the report, Men in the Nursery, said many children spent the early part of their lives almost exclusively with women. Of the 52 mothers and 25 fathers interviewed, 85 per cent supported having male childcare workers.
