The School Library Association in collaboration with BECTA has released two booklets The Internet, The Secondary School Library and the Independent Learner and Developing Information Skills Through the Secondary School Library for Internet novices working in school libraries. Each uses case studies to discuss issues such as educational resources available on the Internet, how librarians can help students develop ICT and information handling skills and how to manage library use. Booklets respectively cost pound;8.50 and pound;7 for members and pound;5 and pound;4 for non-members.
