This CD-Rom offers simple reading materials for beginners in French and pupils with special needs.

Similar in style to the successful cards from the same publisher, it consists of 120 short tasks covering a wide range of topics with the addition of an audio pronunciation guide. The question format is straightforward (vraifaux or matching numbers with letters) and students can click on “vocabulary” whenever they are lost for words. They can work through the materials in any order, but once they have embarked on an exercise there is no going back before completion. On-screen scores provide immediate feedback but permanent records have to be kept on hard copy.

Also just out from Revilo, Leer is the Spanish equivalent of the French Lecture and German Lektuere. Designed for GCSE reading practice, it contains 100 pages at foundation level and 50 at higher level.
