Two colleges have joined forces to open a town-centre training centre. The Skills Academy: Skegness is designed to make further education accessible to people living and working in the Lincolnshire coastal town.
It will offer courses in subjects including art, tourism, fitness, counselling and hairdressing.
It has been set up by Boston College and Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education.
Daniel Khan, Grimby’s principal, said: “The academy will be a vibrant and exciting centre where people can come and learn in a friendly atmosphere that’s right on their doorstep.”
