Actors covet Oscars, rock stars receive Brits and educational suppliers clutch ERAs - Education Resources Awards. They are run by the British Educational Suppliers Association (Besa) and are the only ones that recognise the full range of resources available to schools. This is reflected in the shortlist with CD-Roms, books, websites, puppets, storytelling kits and a mixing desk among the potential winners. As well as resources, the judges recognise individual achievement and innovation.
The awards ceremony will be held on Friday evening. Visitors to the Education Show will be able to see a display of the short listed resources on the Besa (STAND B101). On Saturday, the winners will display ERA posters on their stand. See www.besanet.org.uk.
