BILL Cockburn, a former head of the Post Office, WH Smith and BT, is the new chairman of the School Teachers’ Review Body. He will be the part-time, unpaid chairman of the body, which makes annual recommendations to the Government on teachers’ pay. He succeeds Tony Vineall, who retired in April after serving two three-year terms.
