(Photograph) - Former shadow further and higher education minister Bryan Davies is to be the new chairman of the Further Education Funding Council. The ex-Labour MP, who was made Lord Davies of Oldham earlier this year, will replace Sir Robert Gunn, who has led the funding council since it was created five years ago.
