TeacherNet is a new “one-stop shop” for teaching resources from the Department for Education and Skills. As well as more than 1,000 lesson plans, the site offers resources aimed at simplifying teachers’ jobs, advice on how to further their careers and far easier access to government policy and documentation. Meanwhile, a one-stop shop for ICT advice and support will be launched next month by Becta. The new website will provide services, tools, content and support to those who use or manage ICT in schools and Becta hopes it will become the definitive site in the field. It goes live on March 7.
