St Aidan’s secondary in Ashbrooke, Sunderland, has banned pupils from using mobile phones with cameras at school amid fears that images may be seen by paedophiles.

This week the NCH charity (formerly National Children’s Homes) suggested a massive rise in child pornography crimes was due to increased use of the internet.
