I am often called “Sir” in school, and often called Keith, but never the two together. So it was a special treat to be “Sir Keith Rowlands” in TES Cymru, on Friday, March 30, as it was my very last day as headteacher of the Dell School before retirement.

However, during my visit to the Palace in 2002, I bowed rather than kneeled, and therefore you have elevated this simple lad to a position above his station.
