IN your article on Form 7 (the annual school census) you quote a Department for Education and Skills spokesman: “If you have the data it will take no more than a few minutes to press a button and take it off the system” (TES, January 11). What complete nonsense!
My secretary logged more than 50 hours of work since last April to prepare for the task of pressing a button.
How can my school be compensated for paying a secretary two weeks’ wages to provide information for the DFES?
