Not to put the wind up you, but ..

Paul Twyman

I do not wish to lower the tone of TES or mock Mr Gove's interesting wheezes, but I cannot resist pointing out a downside to the appointment of the owners of the restaurant chain Leon as advisers on school meals (By the numbers, 13 July). I am a fan of Leon but they do serve a lot of brown rice, coleslaw and other generators of intestinal wind. Given the preoccupation of pupils with farting, I fear that we can look forward to a few challenges around classroom management.
