I would like to express my appreciation for the excellent coverage given to financial education in Scottish schools and colleges in TESS (26 April).

As someone who has worked in schools - for Learning and Teaching Scotland and now for Education Scotland - supporting local authorities, schools, teachers and young people, it was heartening to read the excellent journalism of Julia Belgutay.

The articles were comprehensive and well balanced and can only have enhanced our efforts to make financial education available for every child in Scotland.
