Nothing black and white in race row

My thanks to Fran Abrams for suggesting that the Government review the funding targeted at ethnic minority pupils. The funding in question was known as Section 11 (of the 1966 Local Government Act) and aimed to help meet the “special and additional” needs of ethnic minority pupils. It has served its purpose and should be redirected to others who need it the most.

My own research has confirmed that white pupils are now the largest underachieving group across the country.
