THE NATIONAL Union of Teachers’ deputy general secretary, Steve Sinnott, has won a second five-year term after seeing off a challenge from the NUT’s left wing. P> Mr Sinnott won 37,821 votes against 15,217 for challenger Kevin Courtney, a member of the Socialist Teachers’ Alliance, on a 25 per cent turnout.
