One of the firms that provides Ofsted with inspectors is selling off its other business interests. Public sector consultancy Tribal is selling its loss-making health and government units to outsourcing firm Capita, and expects to recoup more than #163;12 million after fees and taxes. The firm said the sale would “significantly reduce (the) current level of indebtedness and will provide a strong platform for ... investing in the education business”, which generated profit of more than #163;14 million in 2010.
