One in five 'locked out' of a job

ALMOST one in five young people from disadvantaged backgrounds is "locked out" of the jobs market by a lack of qualifications and vocational experience, a survey by the Prince's Trust shows. The charity, which surveyed 782 youngsters, said incentives for staying in education and the quality of pupil referral units needed to be improved.
