It worries me that we are now denying families key legislation that supports their child in accessing quality education that meets their individual needs (The TESS, July 30). How many other pieces of legislation will be delayed, because of concerns over the implementation of Curriculum for Excellence?

Nurseries have been implementing the core principles and practices of the curriculum for years. It’s time we look towards sharing practice across all the establishments, instead of waiting for some rulebook or handbook that tells us how to implement a curriculum that is subjective for a reason - to engage the creative teachers that we currently have in Scotland.
