TEN thousand pupils will get a personal e-mail address and learn how to use the Internet under a pound;6.2 million scheme from Oracle. The investment will fund the US computer firm’s Millennium Project, which will explore new ways to use the Net to improve learning. The project is being piloted at the Whitehall school in Glasgow, Walthamstow school for girls, north-east London and the Isle of Man youth club in conjunction with Anglia Polytechnic University’s Ultralab.
