A Wrexham teenager has become the first in Wales to receive the highest award made by the Children’s University, which accredits pupils’ extra-curricular activities. Julian Knox, 18, from the town’s Woodlands school, picked up his advanced diploma after volunteering for activities with the school, Ty Mawr country park and the Duke of Edinburgh awards.
