Out-of-school PE lags behind

Pupils in Wales have fewer opportunities for extracurricular PE, Assembly government figures reveal. The Children and Young People’s Wellbeing Monitor shows that an average of 24 hours of extracurricular provision were available each week for 11 to 16-year-olds in 200809, compared to 30 hours in 19992000.
