Around 100 tall ships from 15 to 20 countries will sail next year from Waterford in Ireland to Halmstad, in Sweden, via Greenock, Lerwick and Stavanger.
Sail Training International, which organises the event, is looking for young people aged 15 to 25 to crew the spectacular vessels when they come to Scotland.
Individuals can decide for themselves which leg they would like to take part in.
They can choose to race or perhaps join the cruise in company, sailing from Greenock to Lerwick, when ships have the option of visiting the guest ports of Campbeltown, Port Ellen and Oban, among others, on their way up the west coast of Scotland.
