Overheard

I am the special educational needs coordinator at a primary school and had a conversation with a Year 5 child who has autism about her parents' wedding.

Pupil: "Can I ask you something?"

Me: "Yes, of course."

Pupil: "When people get married, why do they say, 'your awful beheaded husband'?"
