Sixth formers at Monkseaton Community High School in Whitley Bay, North Tyneside have been helping their parents to learn IT basics. Six-week CyberSkills workshops, designed by ICL, let parents and students learn from each other about the Internet and related tchnologies. Workshops for local small businesses will be offered from January. ICL recently signed a pound;3.4million contract to provide a managed service to 12 secondary schools and community centres in Liverpool.
