A 2.3 per cent pay rise is set to be imposed by Welsh colleges after unions rejected the offer

Welsh colleges’ body Fforwm said that the increase upheld its commitment to parity with school teachers’ pay. The rise, which is backdated to August 1, compares with 1.5 per cent offered to English colleges.
