Thorpe Park in Surrey has produced a key stage 3 maths and science workpack based on its X:No Way Out ride (which helps with the principles of Pythagoras’ Theorem), and the Tea Cup ride (which helps demystify velocity vectors). Its KS2 pack takes junior pupils around the Park’s nature reserve studying plants, wildlife and birds, and its KS1 pack takes children around Thorpe Farm, a Thirties working farm with rare breeds of sheep, pigs, cows and goats, agricultural equipment and displays of rural crafts such as sheep shearing. For details of discounted group visits, tel: 0990 880 888.
