Ann Power, 60, asked governors to investigate Hayling school in 2001 after she became unhappy about cheques she was asked to sign. The investigation found no wrongdoing but led to a breakdown in her relations with the headteacher, causing her to sign off sick for two years.
A deputy head who was intimidated for launching an investigation into her school's finances has won undisclosed compensation from Hampshire council.
