In the ultimate bid to be inclusive, the Education Minister will take part in an online chat session with parents next Tuesday. Peter Peacock said he wanted to “signal a new era for parental involvement”.
The Scottish Executive will be mounting a major drive to boost parent involvement in children’s education, not just school management. Regular homework can be the equivalent of roughly an extra year’s schooling.
