“Just like...school” is a new PHSE subscription website aimed at supporting teachers who have to work with key stage 2 children with behavioural difficulties. The site features 20 young “characters”, each with a personal issue that affects their behaviour and performance at school and home. The idea is for teachers to get pupils to work with characters they most identify with. They work through four activities that allow them to explore the problem, learn to talk about it and hopefully find ways of dealing with it.
The service, which costs pound;189 a year for a school subscription, is linked to other “Just like” materials such as CD-Roms and books.
