It’s 100 years since the “Boy Who Never Grew Up” first flew across a London stage. The Peter Pan Education Pack brings together many intriguing resources for those who want to explore his story. The pack refers to various versions derived from the original play, notably JM Barrie’s own later novel and the Disney and Spielberg films. It deals with issues pupils a century ago would have surely recognised - good and evil, duty and responsibility - as well as more modern themes such as ambiguous gender roles. The Peter Pan Education Pack is available from SWSSC, Gracefield Arts Centre, 28 Edinburgh Road, Dumfries DG1 1JQ.
