The very Father Ted-like Father John Irons Show rolled into Christ the King parish hall in the King’s Park area of Glasgow recently for songs and cabaret from the talented thespian cleric.
As he finished a soulful rendition of “Danny Boy”, the good priest noticed a lady in the front row crying. “Has the song got to you?” he asked. “No,” she snuffled. “I’m a music teacher and you’ve murdered it.”
