I hope our example benefits others You are right to highlight lack of funding as a national issue, but we are fortunate in Ealing not to have any cuts in school budgets. Unfortunately, my quote was edited to lose the word “national”, so your readers may have thought that we were making cuts.
One other, small thing: your description of me as “council spokesman” gives the impression I am an employee. I am actually a politician!
