* Your front page (TES, October 10) boldly declared “Exam cheats ignored” as “teachers ‘connive’ with pupils on coursework”.

What is the difference between this situation and the MA dissertation or a PhD thesis prepared under expert-guided supervision? Clearly there should be more examinable content and less paperwork!
