I agree with the National Union of Teachers’ concern over the commercialisation of schools, and am surprised the National Association of Head Teachers fails to recognise this. (TES, June 6).

The message to pupils is that only companies whose names appear in school are worthy of consideration. I also worry about distortion of the curriculum, and the firms’ motivations.
