Police break up Leicester sit-in;In brief;News;News and opinion

PARENTS who are refusing to send their children to New College Leicester, a new 1,800-pupil "super-school", were ejected from the education department by police after staging a sit-in.

Since term began about 30 parents have been sending their children to a makeshift classroom at Wycliffe community college, one of six schools closed in the city's shake-up of secondary education.
