An educational website designed to keep pupils informed about events in the Houses of Commons and Lords has been launched by Parliament’s education service. Online resources include games, videos and lesson plans, as well as training for citizenship, political literacy and politics teachers. An updated version of the DVD You’ve got the Power is available free to schools. Tom O’Leary, Parliament’s head of education, said: “The idea is to provide young people and teachers with easily accessible resources that are interactive, fun and can be matched to the school curricula.”
