The TESS last week reported concerns about a drop in candidates for Advanced Higher courses. Yet, despite this overall trend, some subjects grew in popularity at Advanced Higher in 2006-07. These included biology, chemistry, English, modern studies, music, and religious, moral and philosophical studies.
