* Proof positive that there is no teacher-shortage crisis in English schools is offered by the fact that not one of the seven of us who left the UK three years ago to teach here in Zambia (with about 80 years’ experience in total) has received any communication fro the Department for Education and Employment (“Come back please”, TES, March 16).
If there really were a crisis then surely someone would want to know why we left (for less money) and try to entice us back?
