How many readers spotted the slip in The TES of January 25? There was a photograph of a teacher, apparently addressing a class - (“He hopes to cross the threshold this year.”) He was standing next to a flip-chart. Not once but twice on the chart was the phrase “independant task” (sic). Oh dear!
