Ted Wragg’s article (TES, January 25) brought back memories of a course I attended on Aids awareness. Post-lunch, the course leaders realised they had missed out their ice-breaking activity at the start of the day. They issued us with question grids and asked us to try to generate a line of “yes” answers to printed questions of which I remember: “Are you a regular soft drug user?” “Have you had sex fewer than three times in the last fortnight?” The ice thickened.
