WHILE welcoming Yasmin Alibhai-Brown’s article about the end of multiculturalism, I notice a flaw in her argument. She says that although children have many friendships across race and etnic barriers, these relationships falter by puberty. However, she says: “mixed race communities are growing”. How can this be?
