IT INTERESTS me to note that the Department for Education and Employment logo is in two parts shaded differently. The “D” for Department is separated from the “EE” of Education and Employment by a line surmounted by an “f”. In geological terms this indicates a fault line, a rift where either side is sinking from lack of support or one of the sides is overriding the other and forcing it down.
