Potential for the politically correct

According to your front page, (TES, July 21) primary children in Britain show “potential for racism”. University researchers draw this conclusion from the fact that, when required to answer the question whether it was possible to cease being British, some children thought it was possible, provided that one (1) went to live in another country and (2) learned (ie adopted) “ways” different from those in Britain. Shock, horror!

What alternative answers to that question would have been considered correct (politically)?
