Children’s laureate Anthony Browne visited Wroxham School, Potters Bar, to open its new story bus.

The double-decker was bought for #163;2,000 and turned into a space for reading and drawing downstairs with a meeting room upstairs.

Children competed to have their design painted onto the bus and a local artist was brought in to create a model robot driver out of discarded metal.

The bus has green grass-style carpet around the old seats and is painted and decorated with framed pictures and poems which the children have written. HW.
