Union leaders are claiming victory after lecturer Pat Walsh was offered a Pounds 27,000 pay-off to settle a claim for unfair dismissal. Mr Walsh claimed he was made redundant from Accrington and Rossendale College because of his position as NATFHE branch secretary.
