* Devise a dance based on the story of Ra: Path of the Sun God. Use movements that evoke the Ancient Egyptian belief about the Sun’s place in creation.
* Visit sites such as www.schoolsobservatory.org.uk to investigate the position of the Sun and planets in the sky at different times of the day.
* Design a hat that will protect the wearer from the sun. Look at modern hats and discuss why a baseball cap would be unsatisfactory but a French Legionnaire’s ideal.
