How can The TES print a whole-page article entitled “Beyond the unfairness of funding” (April 21) without a single mention of the biggest unfairness of all?
Why was there no protest at the unfairness of underfunding the primary sector at a rate so much less than the secondary sector?
The primary years are the most important years in the school life of a pupil. Year 1 is the most important of all. How can educationists allow this massive unfairness to continue? Please print a whole page about ensuring equality of funding between primary and secondary sectors.
