Primary work can be hard to find

My patience has run out with your endless articles about the shortage of teachers and the desperation of heads who are forced to recruit unqualified or unsuitable applicants.

Perhaps you should run an article on the many disappointed primary NQTs who were led to believe they would walk into jobs. Leeds, it would appear, has no shortage of staff, with up to 100 applicants applying for the more lucrative posts.

Even with 10 years' experience of teaching English as a foreign language abroad, I have been unable to secure a post for this September. Adding to my frustration is, of course, the Criminal Records Bureau which has not processed my disclosure form yet, and I am therefore unable to even request supply work.
