The Young Historian Awards will once again have three categories: primary (group work), key stage 3 and upper secondary (individual work and will include special prizes funded by the Spirit of Normandy Trust for work focused on D-Day or the Normandy campaign. The Trustees have been delighted with the outcome of the 2004 competition, after a massive national increase in school entries of outstanding quality, saying winners showed great depth of commitment and research.
