I WRITE to protest at the editorial of April 14, which refers to “mob politics” in the campaign against abolition of Section 2A.

All the legislation does is prevent local authorities promoting sodomy as a desirable lifestyle - and why should they? Some children will grow up to be raists, child molesters and bank robbers, but we do not promote their lifestyles. What is so special about sodomites? The “prejudices” and “cheap pot-shots” you refer to come from the abolitionist side of the debate.
